  • Can I swing by to tour the property?
    We'd love to have you swing by, but given our guests' privacy, all tours must be arranged in advance. Please click “Book an Appointment” and our concierge will be happy to coordinate a time for you to stop by.
  • How much does a stay or event cost?
    Unfortunately, this is a tricky one to answer. Because all of our event and stay packages are bespoke, we don't offer a price list right now. Please reach out to us so we can help you design the perfect stay!
  • Can I book just one room?
    Right now, the Backyard Billet only accommodates full property rentals. If you'd like to split your stay fees across multiple parties, we'd be happy to work with you on that.
  • Are there any hidden fees or extras I should be aware of?
    All reservations require short term rental insurance, which protects you and the property from accidental damages. This is a nominal fee managed by a 3rd party. A cleaning fee is also charged as a part of all stays of $240. This is a one time fee which only covers cleaning after checkout. We are also happy to add a daily cleaning service for $150 per day for fresh towels, a clean kitchen, and beds made. Remember, you're not supposed to be working on your vacation! All other fees are discussed during reservations and can be planned based on your needs.
  • Where is your property located?
    Just eight miles from the Bentonville Square, we are in close proximity to everything NWA offers while affording the privacy and tranquility of a woodland escape in a large 60 acre property. A variety of pictorial scenes are available for any event: from a gorgeous wooden fenced pasture in a valley bordered by tree lined hills to a 8,000 square foot estate set atop a ridge or a small garden event in a cedar fenced sanctuary and large wooden greenhouse with a massive cedar picnic table that can easily accommodate 20.
  • How many guests can The Backyard accommodate?
    That depends. Daytime parties larger than 30 guests, must be entertained outside in a tent with required necessities that include a rental potty. A tent that fits 100 guests can be set up to entertain guests outside of the house along with parking in the front of the house just beyond the drive and easily accessible for valet, but any larger events must be set up down in the horse pasture and use of the house is strictly with the primary guest and their pre-approved overnight guests.
  • Do you host weddings?
    Absolutely and the same rules still apply, but the wedding party that may not be staying overnight is welcome to get ready at the house and enjoy the home during the day. Any weddings larger than a micro wedding of 30-50 guests, depending on the event's proposed itinerary of events, must be held outdoors. Several locations are already designed and ready for this type of setup and discussed in the previous FAQ.
  • What should we expect traveling out to The Backyard?
    The property sits on the famous gravel cycling route, Sugar Creek Road, so that will most likely forever and always be gravel. That said, it is one of the most picturesque roads in all of NWA traveling along the Little Sugar Creek wildlife corridor, the dirt road is wide and well maintained. The driveway to the estate is steep, we are in the highlands and it’s the only way to the top. With that, we have parking to accommodate 50 cars at the top as well as hundred plus parking in our pasture, but valets will be required.
  • Does The Backyard offer anything other than the space to host my event?
    Yes! The Backyard Billet's staff is here to provide you with the most unique and luxury stay in NW Arkansas. From private dining provided by our chef, concierge services for welcoming and entertaining guests, daily cleaning service, to local tour guides - enjoy your stay while we take care of the rest. All extras are planned and priced separately. Reach out to our concierge to learn more!
  • Do you allow me to work with outside vendors?
    All of our stays and events are bespoke, so there is a lot of flexibility. We already have relationships with many caterers, event planners, facilities rentals (tents, potties, etc.), and other live entertainment. If you'd like us to plan your entire event, we are happy to do that. If you'd like to plan your own, this is also possible.
  • How have others used the property?
    The beauty of the property is in the multitude of options. We've had a wide range of visitors including: - Corporate events and meetings - Fundraising parties -Media events - Weddings - Family reunions and vacations - Family photography -VIP hosting, privacy and security accommodated
